Raised in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, Leonard Tal Tuschl developed an early interest in the streets and their visual rhythms. Influenced by street skating, he began to see photography as a way to preserve the passing details of everyday life.

Working almost exclusively with film, Tuschl photographs in New York and Berlin, focusing on the intersections of community, family, and shared space. His images explore how environments shape human connection and how moments of quiet significance emerge within the ordinary.

Leonard is currently studying at the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie, where he is developing a more rigorous practice rooted in long-term, project-based work. His approach seeks to build meaningful narratives rather than isolated images, examining how collective spaces reflect and shape personal histories.
